My job wasn't able to pay us for over 6 months. Midland gave me a modification - my mortgage went up.
I missed two payments - instead of letting me pay the 2 payments they gave me a modification - my mortgage went up.
Now, instead of the Deliquency Assistance Center trying to help me they have put my house into foreclosure.

Calling Midland and getting to the person you need to speak with can be a monumental chore. The lines are busy, busy, busy.
I tried going through a third-party (NACA) to ask for a restructuring of the mortgage. No, Midland said. We do not deal with third parties.
In this time of economic turmoil why is Midland's first (and it seems only)response foreclosure, foreclosure, foreclosure?
All of us did not deliberately try to get a house knowing full well we couldn't make the mortgage payments. Some of us actually thought we were being good citizens for our communities and want to keep our homes.
