Money Tree Mortgage ripoff! Woodsstock Georgia

My husband and I submitted an application for a mortgage loan in April 2003 with Money Tree Mortgage, and we were contacted by Randy the next day advising us that we were approved for a home loan in the amount of $75,000 with no closing costs. He advised us to submit a payment of $300, which we did, and we went for weeks with no contact. No one would return our calls, and we were given the run around.

Finally, Angela Quinones returned our call and e-mailed us a pre-qualification letter. We signed a contract on the home we wanted; we paid $375 for a survey, and the day before closing, we were advised that my husband's credit scores were not high enough. We had terminated our lease for the home we were living in based on the assurance that we would have our financing in order by the closing date, and we had no place to go. We had to move in with my parents until we were able to find another place to rent. We have not been able to reach Money Tree Mortgage since.
