Ocwen Federal Bank Ripoff FSB Forced lender placed homeowner insurance with out my knowlege and will not pay me back! Irvine California 92619

Here is the story back in 2003 "Ocwen" my Mortgage Company, placed a forced insurance policy agains my mortgage claiming That I had no Home Owners insurance Policy in place. I did not find this out until I refinanced my home with a different company. At the closing there was a discrepency of $1691.50 under miscellaneous. The lawyers said it was up to me to find out what it was. Now since this past July after proving that there was indeed and still is a active insurance policy that I pay in full every year I still have not been paid my money back. Ocwen claims that there was a check sent to the current mortgage company on December 2 of 05. The comany that they had sold the mortgage to and a company that is no longer in business!

I have tried to explain that I refinanced with a different company. I am not going to give up getting this money back! I feel it is criminal what they have done to me!! And I can only imagine the countless other people who unknowingly have had this happen to them! I myself am having a heck of a time trying to decide what to do next. Tonight 1-3-06 they told me to wait 2 more days so they can investigate. Any Ideas people?
