OCWEN FEDERAL SAVINGS BANK Ripoff Has not owned our loan since 2001 yet STILL reports us late every single freakin' month! Irvine California

We are in the process of getting a new mortgage, and at one point Ocwen FSB owned the mortgage on the house we sold in 2002. They owned the note for September and October of 2001. After that it was transferred to another lender.

In February of 2004, when we pulled our credit report, all was glowing except for ONE issue. Even though the old mortgage is paid off, and Ocwen only "serviced" us for two months, they STILL show us as making late monthly payments on a zero balance loan. I called these idiots, and after finding someone who spoke english, they faxed a letter to us saying they would correct the error. it is all in the letter on their letterhead that it was an error. When it was 30 days out from the closing on our NEW house, we found that OCWEN lied.

(Imagine that....!)Nothing was fixed, and our score had dropped 40 points because they still report recent lates on a zero balance account. I am SO going to sue their *sses! I have joined a class action, and I will get them on my own too. I am not about to let this company full of idiots get away with this crap.

If we cannot fix the error in time, we may get stuck with a mortgage loan at a higher rate due to our drop in score.

The letter they faxed is their downfall, and I will be happy to win this thing so that Ocwen can pay off my NEW house!
