Ocwan and Wells Fargo took my parents home of 34 years leaving them devistated and homeless.   Both companies dealt in bad faith, never honoring their own loans.  Ocwan started out by giving several different loan motifications then changing them after a month or two saying the person from their company that set up these payments didnt have the authority to do so.  So then would offer another loan asking for a certain amount to be paid up front, then a fixed payment from there on.  The next month would come, and they would want the old loan payment.  Then they held mortgage payments that my parents sent to them for 2 months then sent them back to my parents saying they sold the property to Wells Fargo.  They were never notified or given a chance to buy the house outright.  Money wasnt an issue for my parents, they couldnt get anyone to talk to them.  Well after taking this to court they found out the loan was sold 5 times in which they were never notified.  They also found out Ocwan is part of Wells Fargo, so they sold the property to themselves.  My paerents are currently waiting for a federal court date, but Ocwan was able to get them out threw state court.  Ocwan is trying to sell the house very fast. KPBS interviewed my family for a documentary on this whole situation.  It will be aired in a month or two.  Money is now becoming an issue for my parents because of all the lawyer fees, court filing fees, storage fees, and temporary housing fees.  This has caused my mother to have a heart attack-stress related.  If this big companies do not get stopped, what will they be able to do next?  And what about the people who went through the same thing but had no money for lawyers.  These companies care nothing about the people they are pusing out of their homes, they just want properties and money.  Ive seen other companies at least try to work with people to keep their homes.  Why are these companies above that.
