Quick Loan Funding & HomeEq fraudulent ripoff business Irvine California

On 1/18/03, my elderly mother and me went to Quick Loan Funding, Inc. to sign loan documents for a refinance loan. We were supposed to sign documents for a 5.25% loan, but was told while we were there that my credit was not good enough to support the 5.25% loan and was told that 9.25% loan is the best that could be offered.

We had two mortgages at the time (1st mortgage with Countrywide Mortgage located in Van Nuys, Ca and a 2nd mortgage with Beneficial Financial in San Diego. Ca). We wanted and needed to lower our house payment to make it easier to pay our monthly mortgage payment.

I (Emma) was told by my loan broker, Farzad Nafei, that my loan would be refianced by their company after 12 months of paying my mortgage with no late payments. (We had no late payments with either of my mortgage companies). Therefore, we agreed to take a chance. What a big mistake on our part. We felt intimated while there signing the loan documents as we wanted to read the documents that we were signing and apparently were taking too long to sign/read the documents as a man named Carlos stated that we were taking up too much of the notary's time.

Therefore, we signed the loan documents knowing that legally we had a 3 day recension period. Quick Loan Funding had the documents recorded in Riverside County where we reside the same day therefore, denying our right to cancel the loan. We are now under an illegal loan document and need help. They have sold our mortgage to three different mortgage companies since February 03. The present mortgage company is HomeEq, Box 96053, Charlotte, NC. 28296-0053.

We have recently read about my new mortgage company and read that they have many complaints against them as being a rip off mortgage company. If there is a class action law suit against either of these companies, we would like to become a part of it.

My next mortgage is due June 16, 03 and we have not received a monthly payment coupon or booklet as of this email. We made my first payment to HomeEq. in May 03. We need urgent help.
