My family was, and still is being victimized by these crooks at SPS! As Fairbanks Capitol before the settlement, they would take our cash Western Union payments, then Refuse because they were as little as
1.00 short of their figures, Returning and notifying us by snail mail 10 days later.

In the 10 days, they would "open a file of foreclosure" with a NY attorney, and add 3000.00 fee to our now delinquent status. Their favorite gimik is to not accept a 25 day old payment unless you pay the up coming payment not even due yet. You wonder how they can still be in business?

Out of $18,000 in foreclosure fees we paid on just one of our two mortgages with them, the settlement got us 800.00!!! Someone got paid off, and it wasn't the victims of this sleezeball group. I am looking to refi two loans that are now current but at 10 and 12%.
