I too responded to Craigs list for a 2006 Harley for $2950. I contacted Debbie Phillips and  I got a response within couple hours.  She advised that she was the owner  of the motorcycle with clear title since divorce.  She wrote that she was a dealer on a crusie ship and her schedule was very limited. I wrote her back stating that I was very interested and that I was in pensacola florida. I gave her my phone number so we could talk about meeting.

I told a friend about the bike and we tried to find it again on craigslist but could not.

My next response was several hours later telling me that she would like to do the transaction through ebay to protect both of us. She gave instructions that by doing this I would recieve the bike  at my door and would have 5 days to check it out and ride it before  she would recieve her money.  

My next email was at 4am from her telling me that the bike was at a shipping company already boxed and ready for shipment. I did send her my address and my number again. I offered to go to the shipping company to pick up the bike and as of right now had not recieved any other email from her. While I was waiting to recieve the next response I tried searching the vin number and found this site saving me lots of headaches and $3000 dollars.
