I have had an account with CitiFinacial Auto since dec 2004. Earlier this year I got behind on my payments. I called Citi and got in touch with a gentleman named Manie. During this time this gentleman told me that I could apply for a reduced interest loan. And if I gathered all the information he needed and faxed it to him that he could refinance my loan at a cheaper interest rate, which would drastically reduce my monthly payment. I spent the next week getting all the required information and faxing it to him.

After a week of not hearing from him I called. And of course could not get back to him on the phone. I left messages to no avial. During this time. I became another month behind on my payment. I was told by him that after I faxed the paper work He would call and tell me the amount of the payment I should send. When I finally got ahold of him it was a completly different story. SO I sent my regular monthly payment. A couple of weeks later I got a very rude phone call from him. The next time I talked to him he became very rude, raising his voice and such. I calmly told him I was calling to take care of this matter and I did not appreciate him raising his voice at me. I never once raised my voice to him and was speaking to him very calmly. Once I told him I did not like the fact that he was raising his voice at me. He told me that I should grow up and handle my responsibitly, and that appearently I could not afford this loan and if I had to be behind on a payment again he would push and order of repossion and I would have my truck repoed. I was very frustrated after this phone call. I got off the phone feeling very badly.

This company needs to work on thier customer service standards and instead of demeaning the customers calling trying to work on whatever thier situation may be, they should practice thier patience and understanding. After all they did chose the job of CS Rep.
