Latus Motors Harley Davidson Lo-jack and Warranty overcharging Gladstone Oregon

Buyer beware. It all starts when looking at a new or used harley to buy. The old car game begins. First the comes is the old 4 square. Price, Down, Trade, Payment. So the get you to agree on a payment. It will either have warranty, maintance and lojack preloaded into the payment. They will not be up front that this is all included.

If payment is to high they'll start backing this stuff out of the payment without telling you it was even in it in the first place. If payment still to high they'll start playing with interest. The whole time never messing with cost of bike. There job is to just get you to agree on payment. Once into the F&I office it's there job to pressure you into buying this stuff.

Here is the real rip off. Lojack cost the dealer parts and labor about $779 and that's after adding 2 hrs of labor to something that only takes 30 to 45min to install. Then the F&I office trys to sell you it for $1395. How what a big mark up. Parts and serviced have allready marked it up. Now F&I marks it up. Then if they do sell it to you lojack gives the a spiff of $50.00.

What a deal for them not you. Then they don't tell you it only works in a very limited area. Like portland and vancouver. So if you travel over to eastern oregon your SOL. Don't buy it and if you do don't pay $1395. your paying to much.

Then there's there extended warranty they try to sell. It's not harley esp from the factory it's there own warranty. And not all dealers will except it. Example cost to dealer on a 5yr warranty is $599 and the try to sell it for $1795.00. Talk to your friends you will find there is no consistance to what they charge.

Every customer pays a differant price based on what the can get you to pay. Or what the bank will finance. MMM can you say discrimination. Be carfull don't let them over charge you on warranty. Other dealers will sell for less just call and ask. And most likely it will be the True Harley Davidson Extended Warranty. Now it is the only one to buy.
