Pep Boys Purchase of 2 defective Baja SC 50 scooters. Chico California

April 2007 I purchase 2 baja sc 50 scooters

April 2007 I can't register them in California.

I contacted a DMV. investigator at the Chico branch to report them.

We eventually get the 2 scooters registered after a week.

I believe the store was cited, but that didn't help me any.

The store was not licensed to sell motor vehicles in the state of california

April 2007 one scooter fails to move past 20 mph. I take it to a shop, after 5 months I get the scooter back, but the shop owner complains of not being paid for his work and refuses to work on the other one.

October after incredible BS'ing on the part of Pep Boys I finally find a place within 100 miles to get the scooter repaired at.

November, they give it back, saying Baja won't pay them to fix it.

Sooooo.. after 9 months, my wife didn't get even 300 miles on hers. and mine was completely rebuilt.

Pep boys refuses to refund my money, reimburse me for the more than 300.00 in gas I spent taking to scooter places, and I still have one bad scooter. I'm not in good health, otherwise I would have thrown the scooter through their front window. I just afford to drive the darned thing all over the state.

And this is AFTER I bought the extended warranty!!

I have a real urge to find the owner of Pep Boys and make him try to ride this peice of junk..

I will never buy another thing from Poop Boys again.
