CEH Moving, INC Horrible Move - We had to Finish It Raleigh, North Carolina

We hired CEH Moving to move us from PA to GA.  We gave them a very detailed list of everything that was to be moved, including dimensions of larger items and exact counts of boxes.  They told us that one of their larger trucks (not a semi) would work.  My wife and I both told them that it would be too small.  For that reason I specifically asked if they would be responsible for making sure that anything that did not fit would be gotten and taken to the new house.  They said they would be responsible and had contracts and contacts with other movers that had trucks in that area.  It did not all fit.

The day of the move they were supposed to be there early.  They arived after lunch.  At 9pm they were ready to leave the house.  We had been told that they would drive straight through and be at the GA house early the next morning.  We drove through and were at the new house at 9am.  The movers finally arrived around 7-8pm. 

They told us a few times that they had trucks in the area but there was always an excuse and they remaining items which were left in the shed exposed to the elemnets were never picked up.  They just sat their ruining.  The PA weather started to turn. They said they had a truck making a delivery and would get our stuff on the return trip.  They did not - the driver made an executive decision to drive back to the shop without picking up our remaining items.  We were told they would be there at 9am - we had people at the house waiting and they could not even bother to tell us that they weren't going to be there.  After telling us they would be responsible for getting our possessions to GA they later told me they wanted an extra $1000 to get the stuff they said that they would be responsible for.

To make a long story a little shorter - my son and i borrowed a trailer and retreived the last of the items from the house. 

Very unprofessional - no concern for timing or those waiting.  There is no way that I would ever recommend using this company to move anything.
