Dolphin International Shipping ripoff Coral Springs Florida

Avoid this company like the plague!!

I paid them to ship my personal belongings from Seattle to my new home in southwest France. They managed to ship my belongings to Marseille(the wrong port) then disappeared.

At first I thought I was dealing with garden variety incompetence, in view of the fact that they sent the shipment to a port across the country despite being advised of the best three options, and that the shipment was a month later than originally promised.

Dolphin International subcontracted with a French company to handle the shipment, but the French company (which by contract has been wonderful to deal with) required payment by Dolphin International before they would clear the shipment from customs and deliver it to my home.

Inquiries to Dolphin International by both me and the French company about the status of the payment were met with a series of blatant lies. The payment had "been ordered" but never seemed to arrive, and we couldn't get a confirmation number, which is provided with all international money transfers. Then it was "we are preparing for a hurricane, and will send payment after the hurricane passes." Then it was "we have problems with our bank which will soon be resolved, then you will be paid."

After it became obvious that Dolphin International never had any intention of fulfilling their obligation, I paid approximately $2,500 of my own money to get my shipment delivered.

If you entrust your belongings to these people after reading this, you deserve the misery which will surely come your way.
