Booked with National Moving Network - I asked why I should go with National - Told "we have a partnership with MSN.Com and would not want to hurt it."
I called MSN after the move and they disregard the above statement and are looking into it.

National retained $500 for deposit and hired another mover - did NOT explain they were booker only and other numberous movers would be involved. When I went back to National for assistance with Progressive Van Lines and AY Transportation - Natinal told me to handle myself - they did their job.(and a lousy one at that too!)

Progressive Van Lines shows up to West Palm Beach, FL home on 6/30/03 - stated no charge on stairs per National - ammended agreement stating the above, signed and dated BEFORE the loading of our goods.

7/05/03 - in Chicago,IL called for update on delivery - says Monday - Never showed up - this was ongoing Daily for weeks on end. Gave me an estimate - Bank One Cashier Check cut in the estimate amount stated three days in a row by Progressive/AY's - Michelle Oney.

7/16/03 - Movers arrived to deliver (after belongings sat on dock for 11 days - no deliverymen avail - understaffed company) denyed Cashier Check stated okay by National. On the way to bank to cash the check to get "CASH" as demanded - bank closed 5 minutes prior. I called NBC-5 in Chicago for advice - movers over heard, reloaded items already unpacked and took off!!! Stole goods - did not say they were leaving and did not tell me where to find my stuff. Meanwhile the Bill is Padded by $375 a day for storage of goods stolen!!!!

7/22/03 - Police called Progressive and AY. They would NOT cooperate, retained police report. Provided docs to Civil Serv. NBC-5, CBS-2 etc... NBC, CBS, Chicago Police and Civil Services all contacted the company and all of a sudden Michelle calls to schedule a delivery 7/23/03. The movers arrive. Boxes were broken into - items (200 CD's and 20 yrs of Journals stolen. Glass items shattered, missing parts to dresser and bed - Can not use either until repurchase pieces to make them work & 3 Weeks of harassment.

Paid $500 Broker, $1300 cash AY Transport = $1800 - Services were NOT rendered as agreed. Lost items, wages lost & apartment lost. Want $$ back!!

p.s. Chicago Police, Chicago Civil Serivces, NBC-5 & CBS-2 all say this is the worst case of Fraud they have ever seen!!
OUCH - DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!

Now I get to fight for my money back!!! Fun :(
