Nationwide Moving Services Screwed Kaufman Texas

I am so upset with the way we were treated by the movers involved with nationwide moving services that I had to write about it. This company was very highly regarded by www.moverreviews.com and the sales representitive was very polite and seemed professional. I guess I was wrong, they picked us up 2 days later than they said without compensation and the people in the office are nice enough but once they booked my move it doesn't really seem as if they care. The driver that picked us up was truly an idiot and even though our boxes were clearly marked and some of them said "FRAGILE" all over they packed some of them on the bottom which obviously resulted in damages to some things. While the damages were not crazy they were significant enough that we feel they should not have happened. We know that things happen and understand certain things cannot be helped but that was just a clear case of not giving a damn. We were told and had to pay an additional $385.00 for packing which we were not told of until several days after pick up and never recieved weighing tickets. I just feel we were taken for a ride,had damages, and it also took 10 days to deliver our stuf and it was only 650 miles. I just have a very bad taste in my mouth from nationwide moving services and would not use this company and would not recommend anyone else use them. Next time I move if I do move, I will use a major moving company or rent a uhaul and do it myself.
