Triangle Moving Service Not a perfect moving company Hillsborough North Carolina

I wanted to submit a complaint about Triangle Moving Service. We signed up to have our entire house packed up in Charlotte, stored for close to 2 months and delivered to Raleigh and paid approximately $5000. I and my husband chose them because we couldn't find any complaints posted about them. Unfortunatelly our experience didn't turn out to be as good as we had hoped for.

We were not able to watch over the movers packing up our things and furniture in Charlotte and once everything arrived to Raleigh we found that half of the boxes were unmarked, things packed in the most random order, e.g., wires together with fine crystal and dirty potting pots. It was very hard to unpack because of the unmarked and randomly packed things.

In addition the guys who unloaded the truck and got the things in our house couldn't wait to get done fast enough. Of course, there was some broken and damaged stuff as well. We expected that but what was surprising is that when we filed a complaint they only refunded us $155.80 for 2 broken family crystal trays, a couple of dinged/broken furniture pieces, and several dings and scratched in the walls.

In addition to that they claimed that we had packed the random stuff ourselves, which was not the case. The only things we had packed were some of our Christmas Ornaments, and thank God. The refund was incommesurate with the damages caused and the service we were lead to believe we'd get wasn't up to par.
