Unique Movers Overcharged and refused to release my property after payment Oxnard California

I contracted Unique Movers to move my family. I was given a quote over the phone for 3 men and 2 trucks. I received one (1) small truck and 2 men. When I questioned the men, they told me they were told only 2 men and one (1) truck was needed. I replied that I needed 2 trucks for the amount of personal property I had. I was assured that they could fit everything into one truck and save me money. Three hours into the move, I was told that a second truck would be needed but, the price would be alot more than what I was quoted. I said I was quoted a price already and that I wanted the second truck based on the verbal agreement. They got another truck and loaded the rest of my property on it.

When they got to the destination, they told me they would not unload either truck until they got full payment first. I paid them $1000.00 cash. They unloaded one truck and left without unloading the second truck. I called the company and spoke to Rob. He said I would have to pay for the second truck rental and storage fees. He also said he wanted to be paid cash up front before he would bring the second truck. I agreed to pay him. He said he would call me and let me know the day. He never called me back. I called him numerous times and left him messages each time. He never returned my calls and I never got my property back.
