Okay!
my in laws were going to move to mcdonough georgia from new york and they asked me if i can do the favor for them and check online for the best deals on moving company's.. so i said sure.. no problem.
i found this website call security moving and storage inc... it had a good "deal" and i thought that they defitnetly would be intrested....so they were.
biggest mistake tha could of ever happen.

when they showed up to pick up there things. They sent a truck that was too small, after their own inspector had said a 26ft truck would not suffice. They packed and jammed as much things as they could in the small truck and the rest of there things they had to rent a u-haul to drive it down themselves.

After everything was loaded on the truck, we found out the deal was not even no where near a deal as some how the price of the moving was now going to cost more than $1,000 then they had originally told us. When I said they were crazy and that's not what I had been told, they refused to let us unload the truck until they got paid for that days work which would cost my in laws about $800 averaging $200 per worker . they just decided to take figure about the money and just let them finish the job, the just wanted it to be over with so they can get to their new home.

The workers still demanded a 'ip after this whole mess and then complained with what was given to them as a tip!

my in laws drove down in their own car with a u-haul the next day at 5 am to be in Georgia when the movers arrived. On their way the u-haul caught a flat and they were stranded for approximetly 10hrs on the highway waiting for th u-haul to be fixed, but they had to continue their trip because "they had to meet the movers!". the thing is that they should not have ever rushed because the movers were 4 days late! (they were scheduled to arrive sunday morning and showed up thursday.)

In between the waiting for the movers, and having no furniture, beds or a.c.'s in the hot Georgia weather we contacted the company on several occasions calling about when our things would arrive.

The response from the company (and the supposed owner) were absolutely horrible and disrectful. First we were told that the truck had not arrived because the driver 'didn't feel like driving that day.' Then we were told that he would show up within a 10day period because that was the law! He was completle dismisive and mocked us on the phone since we are spanish..

To our relief when they finally arrived on Thursday, they had the nerve to simply drop everything off on the driveway and then leave. The police had to be called twice and made them turn around to come finish the job that they had been paid for, which was to place the furniture and in its designated place in the home. They didn't even do that completely because when we turned our backs they ran out the house and then left.

The worst part of it all the biggest mistake of hiring this company is that the furniture was destroyed. Hardwood tables, chairs and bedframes broken into pieces, glass scratched and mattresses damp and covered in sut and dirt. The furniture had been transported from the truck they had originally picked up stuff in and tossed like garbage into a huge trailer with 3 other moving shipments.

and last but not least, we had 2 televisions with broken screens and a thrid t.v that was stolen along with a couple of more things.

There are at least 3 other reports on this company on this website, I wish we would have read them sooner. and for us we'll do exactly what the cops told us to do .....sue them. and for the company... you''ll love all the pictures and evidence we have on you!!!
