My partner and I had a terrible experience with Infinity Moving and Storage. These people were dishonest, manipulative and negligent. They underquoted us significantly – in fact, we ended up paying about double what they had initially said, despite being quite specific about the job on the phone beforehand. They were understaffed and took all day – they sent 2
middle-aged men to do the job, instead of the promised team of 4.

Despite having said that we would pay 50% at one end and 50% at the other, on their arrival at our new apartment we were informed that we would have to pay an extra $1000 – and until we paid, they would not unload. (Of course, that was very convenient, since we had no idea how badly damaged our belongings were at that point, or that they had lost some of our things.) Many of our belongings were broken, and lost, and some accidentally left in storage.

Now, being new in the city and not knowing how long it would take us to fight this, our priority was having a bed to sleep on, and a pot in which to cook. So we paid.

We dealt with Avi and Ryan on the phone – they were lying, manipulative scum. Charming, until they have your stuff. Then they can’t remember anything that was discussed or agreed upon. All they know is that you owe them a lot more money than you thought, and you’re not getting your stuff back until you pay.

AVOID THESE THIEVES!!!

Also, I have a very strong suspicion that they are authoring false positive reviews by the hundreds – 5 star review after 5 star review, things like “It’s better than hooking up with your ex-boyfriend” and “nicest guys in the world”… and then you look at Yelp, at the Better Business Bureau, and at other sites and realize that pretty much everyone knows that they’re crooks. We were stupid to trust the good reviews, and should’ve dug deeper.
