We were stuck with Moving Connection (not to be confused with another company in Boulder with a similar name) by signing up with Nationwide Relocation services (which is a whole other horrible story).  The actual movers that showed up were very fast and very good.  The company itself, and the customer service, was wretched.  They never called us when we left messages, and we had to continuously call to find out when our belongings would be picked up.  When the 3-15 days that the company claimed they would deliver our things came about, we had nothing.  They kept pushing back the delivery date, said they would let us know when the driver would come, never called, and never returned messages.  Finally we were told Friday or Saturday, Saturday being the very last day.  Then we were told Sunday, which then was one day past their deadline.  When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was hung up on.  We were compensated a measly $25 dollars, which would not cover the cost of the work time wasted, hours on the phone on hold, and an empty apartment.  Sunday evening rolled around and the driver had not called.  Finally, at 6 pm, we are told they are coming 7-9 Monday morning.  I stay home and am late for work.  The truck didn't show up until nearly 11.  Again, the movers were fine.  I had to call customer service and demand again to be compensated for an additional day.  Finally, they agreed to compensate another $25.  It would have been better to move everything ourselves, rather than having no information, terrible customer service, and because they claimed we were over the estimate, we still had to pay more than quoted.  To top it off, we never received any apologies from anyone.  Do not use this company.  Do not use Nationwide Relocation Services.  You will spend many days stressing and waste a lot of time waiting.
