I used Starving Students movers to move my studio apartment to another studio approx. 1 mile away--it took them FIVE HOURS--over $500!!!

When I complained and asked for a PARTIAL refund, made me play phone tag with them, and they eventually refused. I am currently contesting the charge with my credit card company--thank goodness I didn't pay cash!

This company thinks they can cheat you by working slowly and padding the bill with extra hours. The moving men even took a lunch break ON THE CLOCK (I was paying $99/hour) and didn't report it to their supervisors! Even though there were two men and two dollies, at times they were carrying only ONE BOX at a time!

Do not use ANY Starving Students branch unless you want to pay at least double the real price!
