Let me biegin by saying, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SUPER MOVERS BASED OUT OF SAN FRANCISCO CA. THEY LIE IN ORDER TO GET YOU TO SIGN THEIR CONTRACT! BEWARE OF SUPER MOVERS!

I recently had the displeasure of having my move handled by Super Movers. I was told by the sales associate that they were NOT brokers - First Lie. They are indeed brokers. I originally had my contract worked out for 5000 lbs. Jim Or and Sharon talked me into signing a 6000 lb contract on their and the Company's word that each shipment was loaded and brought directly to a weigh station to be weighed before anything else was added. At this time the actual weight would be detrmined and deductions would follow for every pound under 6000. Second Lie. They do NOT weigh the shipments. The mover who came to load the truck told me that I would be paying a FLAT RATE for not 5000 or 6000 lbs, but 7000lbs! He walked around my house on moving day and visually estimated an additional 2000 lbs!!!!! I had no time to do anything or check anything because all of this happened as they were loading my belongings. After my things were delivered I discovered several things that were broken and contacted them regarding these items AND the Bill. I emailed on 8-7, received a call from Super Movers on the 8th telling me someone would be in touch after the weekend. Today is the 20th and I just now got a call this afternoon. A call in response to my email that let them know I was fed up and I would be reporting them to the BBB, rip off report and the American Moving Association. Yayir was the rep who called me. He was anything but helpful -big surprise. He was rude and accusatory, snapping that they had contacted me but I must not have checked my bulk email. LIE! I check ALL of my mail every day. He said they called. Another LIE! I have caller ID and an answering machine. Super Movers was on the ID for 8-8 only and no voice messages were left for me to respond to after that. I am working on getting a full refund from Super Movers. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND MISLEAD YOU INTO SIGNING A CONTRACT! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SUPER MOVERS BASED OUT OF SAN FRANCISCO CALIFORNIA!

Both a Mover AND a Broker

AUTHOR: Jim - Anaheim (U.S.A.)

They're both, which means they have the ability to say NO they aren't a broker, because thy may actually do the move. I don't know where you found these clowns, but there was enough information on the internet for you to say NO to them before you signed a thing. In fact, one comment said, "RUN FOR YOUR LIFE"! Unfortunately, there's little you can do and there isn't a lawyer out there that can help. Movers have a lot of protections in court and your case would be tossed from the getgo.

They have 30 days under the law to deliver your items without being in breach of your contract with them. Make certain they deliver everything; use your inventory sheets to verify.

Best of luck.

UPDATE Super Movers is Breaking the Law!

AUTHOR: Concerned citizen - St Augustine (U.S.A.)

In response to the rebuttle, which I have good reason to believe was posted by a Super Movers employee:

Super Movers is breaking the law and that in itself has the authorities interested. My advice to anyone who has been victimized by SuperMovers or any other moving company is to keep on them. Do your research. Check every avenue leaving no stone unturned. There are attorneys who are interested in this. Don't give up. SuperMovers charged me a flat rate based on cubic feet which is illegal during an interstate move. They exceeded their estimate by more than the legal 10%. This has authorities and attorneys interested. The term "class action" came up a couple of times. I intend to fight this every step of the way. So to Jim-breaking the law, like SuperMovers is, has peaked the interest of many.

Nothing You Wrote Indicated They're Breaking The Law

AUTHOR: Jim - Anaheim (U.S.A.)

If you did any research on these people, you'll see they're both a broker and a mover. This means they have the choice of brokering your move out without letting you know, while also telling you they aren't a broker because they're also authorized to do moves. That's the problem with choosing a mover like this and it happens when you don't do research. How is it that it took me less than 2 minutes to figure out these were bad movers and you didn't? It means you did nothing to protect yourself, and then performing amateur hour level legal work after you figured out how deep you were in.

Per the DOT, they have 30 days to deliver and still be within the terms of their contract. My advice would be to make sure they deliver everything at this point because movers like this will lose things along the way, as well as break things. When they finally deliver, come back and share what happened.

PS: I would never work for any mover in my life ever again, and certainly not for this one.
