Our 88-year old neighbor started responding to sweepstakes mailings which send official looking letters saying "you have already won $x,xxx,xxx just sent in a $20 processing fee". Sometimes the amount is in the millions!

Over a period of about 6 months our friend got the point where he was spending over $2,000 a month to enter sweepstakes. Over the past month he has received more than 600 letters!

I have made it a campaign to get these letters stopped. Most of them have directions on sending a letter to stop the mailing. This company in particular has sent 46 letters in the past month and they don't seem to be letting up.
