    Corporate Advocacy Program
Hi there, I thought I would share my experiences with Ameriplan to the world.

My perspective is not that of a customer - I would never go to those quack dentists willing to sign up with them. My perspective is that of an IBO.

I am a Senior Regional Sales Director with Ameriplan. I am still getting checks from them and have not done any work in about two years.

Sounds great huh? Well, my last check was for about $30 and they took $50 off my credit card... But, I got a check!

My checks used to be about $130 - $200 / month, but Ameriplan instituted their retention program. Basically, they look at how many customers you had a year ago, and if you have lost some percentage of them, then they reduce your check. The more customers you lose year-to-year, the more they reduce your check...

This is just stupid. I sold the product and people quit using it. It is not the salesperson's responsibility to make sure the product does not suck. That is the job of Ameriplan.

Ameriplan apparantly realizes that their product is crap, and want to break-the-promise to pay IBO's 30% of the revenue they generate. Why else would they penalize the IBO for Ameriplan's inability to keep a customer?

A customer quits using a product either because they don't need it or because it is no good. Ameriplan's services must fit in one of those two categories.

When I sugned up, I was told that Ameriplan had a 90% retention rate of it's customers after 11 years! Wow!

But... My experience is that I have signed up over 100 members and have qround 30 left. I signed up 12 IBO, and have one left. I'm pretty good at math. That is not 90%.

It's actually funny... I built a website to sell the plan, and I put the 90% retention figure on it - because that is what I had been told/sold. Then I was told by Ameriplan to remove that wording. At leasat they won't lie to you like those NSD's do.

I could go on and on. I spent money, time (lots of it), and a lot of effort. I signed up leads from coast to coast. I even had brokers signed up under me (stacking) so we could get a NSD promoted to NVP. That was cool! I didn't have to do anything, and the brokers just showed up!!!

I thought that was against policy, but what do I care!

Even with hard work and gifts, I am losing money on this deal. I'm hoping to ride out this retention storm and get back in the black on my checks. I will quit when my members and IBO numbers drop off to the point that I cannot cover the $50 / month fee.

What a waste of time! 90% of the people I saw at the two conventions are not people you would want to leave in the same room with your children.

Clueless sheep listening to the performers on the stage...

Don't waste your time. Study hard. Get a real job.

Hey, I could be wrong - maybe you are that 1% of the 1% of the 1% that make it. So was Michael Jordan... You are that good - right?

I know how you feel

AUTHOR: S. - Portland (U.S.A.)

I know how you feel Joe. I am going through the same thing. I out-worked everybody around me, and people were earning nice chunks of money based on the overrides they had off of my $7,000 MR. My check was the only small one. I know I have a strong work ethic and nobody can break it. My upline was proud of of me and I was thankful to God for helping me: ACE IBO council, Leaders of Tomorrow, Top Producer, Sky is the limit contest and all that, I was extatic to say the least.

Oh boy, if if I did not go from 300 IBO's in 22 months to 25! Lost 70% of my Members too. And I am am good at follow up and plugging people in because I believed in it. Not so much now. I will be going back to Web design and Tutoring and won't see attrition like this, but I will make it work this time.

By the way, was your "stacking" organization the Janie Jones team? If so, I just do not know how they can get away with that, sleep at night and then get on stage to be recognized.

Good luck to you Joe.

Stacking

AUTHOR: Joe - Tulsa (U.S.A.)

I was involved in the stacking scheme to get Brad Murray promoted to NVP.

The guy is a machine. I am truely impressed with his ability to sign people up. Incredible.

He signed up and placed people in our organization in the perfect places which allowed him to achieve his promotion.

This was well known within the organization. Dennis and Daniel were aware of it because they wanted to announce his promotion at the upcoming convention.

No hypocrisy here!

Residual Income: The facts

AUTHOR: Steve - Eddystone (U.S.A.)

Here's how it works. If your members or IBO's quit, you no longer get paid for them. They no longer pay corporate so corporate no longer pays you. It's a simple concept really. Do you really believe that companies can just pull money out of thin air to pay you for the rest of your life? Here's a hot tip. Follow up with your members and IBOs in good faith and maybe they won't quit or cancel. Sometimes people find a better deal or find a job with traditional health insurance, so they cancel. It's a Business. Everyone on here has made the decision between MacDonalds and Burger King at some point. Coke or Pepsi? It's business. You can't get paid residually if your business doesn't retain members/IBOs in a residual fashion. Yes, is it that simple. Train your IBOs to walk a successful path, they won't quit and your check will prosper. It's really funny, but every single negative report I read concerning Ameriplan meets one of the following criteria:

1) You are an IBO who stopped "working" the business and therefore your attrition rates went up while your retention rates slipped. This does affect your monthly residual check. Ameriplan rewards you for leadership... not for jumping ship. If you want to maintain your check, keep recruiting, training and sponsoring until you retire. That's how you boost retention rates.

2)You didn't read your policies and procedures and either got booted for breaking the rules, or acted surprised when the company invoked one of it's discretional procedures that you agreed to. Sorry you didn't bother to read them... it's only your contract to do business for the love of god.

3)You bought a business when clearly a JOB was in order. Had you been a hardworker you may not have lost your last job. (No offense to downsize and lay-off victims. Start a home business. It's far more rewarding than killing yourself for peanuts just to make some other guy rich... like every linear business model)

I can assure you that if someone posts the Ameriplan opportunity on Craig's list as a JOB opportunity, craig's list will remove it. I can also assure you that if any IBO is found operating their own business unethically under the policies clearly outline by their contract, they will be terminated by corporate... as some of you were.

Also if you signed up as an IBO, the sponsoring IBO has a taped recording of your phone application or a copy of the paper app, which they keep for two (2) years, as clearly outlined in the policies and procedures that you failed to read before you signed them.

Sorry folks, but you attacking this very reputable company not only gives it an undeserved black-eye, but does so to the entire Network Marketing community, which creates Millionares out of everyday, hardworking people worldwide. It also makes you look foolish to those of us who did read and abide the fine print... and worked hard to succeed.

Learn to read Steve...

AUTHOR: Joe - Tulsa (U.S.A.)

Steve - your response has nothing to do with the facts presented above.

Ameriplan is a failing company. I am still an IBO (SRSD). I still get the newsletter. The numbers of RSD's, SRSD's, etc drop every month.

Ameriplan's BBB status has been revoked.

David and Daniel Bloom were very well aware of stacking schemes to make big promotions.

Superstar Brad Murry signed up several brokers underneath me to achieve his NVP promotion. My upline NSD was involved, Brad Murry was involved (obviously), the company founders were involved etc.

This company has NO INTEGRITY. I have experienced it from the top down.

You are not going to tell me anything I don't know about Ameriplan. I've been on conference calls with Dennis and Daniel (I don't mean just listening... I mean I was talking with them and other leaders).

I doubt you mindless sheep that write these glowing reviews of Ameriplan have had the access that I have had to the under-belly of this company.

The All American image is a sham. The "we love God", "we are an honest company", lines are all BS as well.

So all you people that have been with the company for less than two years: please don't respond to this - you don't know what you are talking about.

All you people that have been with the company for five plus years: when you defend this company, you know you are being a hypocrite and lying.
