PLEASE READ THIS, VERY IMPORTANT:

There are many innocent people getting ripped off by Housevalues.com...what everyone needs to do who've been ripped off by Housevalues.com...

PLEASE, PLEASE FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE WASHINGTON ATTORNEY GENERAL! Only if we all complain will they/can they do anything for us. So far they have not received enough complaints from all of us for them to act or investigate. If we all file a formal complaint, the Attorney General can have a basis for suing Housevalues.com. This was told to me by the staff at the AG office...they need more people to complain for them to investigate.

It is VERY easy to file a complaint, you can do it online:
http://www.atg.wa.gov/consumer/complain.shtml

I cannot emphasize how important it is that you please file a complaint so that all of our stories can be heard by the AG.

Let's keep raising awareness and expose to the media and everyone what a crooked, sham company Housevalues.com is. Let's protect other innocent, hardworking people from being victimized and ripped off by Housevalues.

One More Place to Report these Bottom Feeders

AUTHOR: Skip - West Palm Beach (U.S.A.)

As a Realtor, you probably know these folks advertise in NAR publications as well as many state association publications. Let NAR know in writing and provide your proof. House Values will be at the upcoming NAR convention in 2 weeks. If you plan to attend, go to their display area and speak with someone from corporate. Last year, this compnay had a bunch of people dressed up as nurses and doctors at the convention because they has "a cure for your business". It was real showy, but has no substance.

I will follow up soon

AUTHOR: Craig - Concord (U.S.A.)

I just signed up and cancelled housevalues all in a little over 24 hours. No one was there, office closed. So I'll wait to see how they respond Monday to my cancellations and warnings. If they threaten to keep any portion or try and collect I will be going after them through the state offices, an attorney for advice, civil suit if needed and the worst for them public exposure. I refuse to pay for any faulty or lousy service. If I am threatened (extorted I should say) for $1500 for an unverified unscreened lead I will take it public. I was told these were good leads.

Funny thing is now I have a voice mail identifying themselves only as the lead I received and to call back. Now only after all my complaints and after harassing and rude replies by the shills on housevalues website forum. I have a feeling (gee I wonder why housevalues) that this is another fake. We'll see.

I will be back and let you all know.

Most of my money returned-Complaints are filed

AUTHOR: Craig - Concord (U.S.A.)

I have had my "subscription" refunded by housevalues except for setup fee and 1st month at $328 which I will stop payment on. This to me is an admission.

Those of you in California read the consumer protection law on telemarketers. I am not an attorney or the sharpest tool in the shed, but it is clearly written for the consumer and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand or an attorney to interpret:
“The consumer may cancel any mail order or phone sales contract within 30 days as long as the order under the contract has not yet been filled. This "cooling-off" period allows a consumer to withdraw from a contract that may have resulted from the high-pressure tactics of a telemarketer. To cancel a contract the consumer must notify the seller in writing of the decision to cancel, and must return or offer to return anything received from the seller. As a general rule, the seller must return the buyer's money within ten days of receiving the cancellation notice.”

Check your contracts and instructions from housevalues. You will see they mention training requirements, which includes a personal coaching session, which is to be completed before you are to get a lead. Yet housevalues sends the first lead to you at sign in instantly with instructions to answer this lead in 24 hours BEFORE any of the required training is done. This is done to get around the consumer law.

If this has happened to you then you can probably beat them at their own game too.

I have finished filing complaints with the Attorney General of Washington and California, the FTC and the BBB.
