I just had a call from from LA Marketing Firm for an interview scheduled for tomorrow at 10 AM. I knew the name sounded familiar and that I had heard of this company before just not sure where? So I did a little research and what do you know? The same company that called me for an interview 3 months ago lol.

I read all these posts and laugh because it's the real world VS to scummy rejects who made a few bucks scamming poor honest people. Unfortunately I been a victim of a scam before too so I know how this all works. C'mon I worked for herbel life cant get worse then that. I agree with all the REAL people on this site.

This is a brain washing bull SH*t company who is out to make money on you. They will hire anyone off the street who can wear a suit and attend 2 interviews. Forget about wasting your time with this company. Selling door to door? C'mon you have better chances getting a job at the mall as a cashier and becoming a GM then advancing with this company.

What people don't realize is that the people that made the profit of this company already have money in their pocket. It will take forever for an average student or new comer to make it where they made it. Sure people make money off this want to know how? By you! Whatever you sell is money in their pocket. The rich get richer why you go knock on door to door looking like a moron.

Don't waste your time and don't listen to these idiots who made a few bucks selling back in the days. AT&T services are you kidding me? Their DSL is the worst online product I have seen and you are going to sell this? DSL is dinosaur age product that can never compete with cable or fios. Give it another few years and DSL will be obsolete.

Bottom line is this company has this whole process down packed. Why do you think they operate out of Burbank Ca and not let's say NY? Because the job rate in CA is the worst. Trust me take it from someone who has been job hunting for over 3 months with a bachelors in business and 8 years management experience.

It's just sad to see how this company and many alike do MARKET research on how to target poor and gullible honest people. Anyways like many said it's your choice to take the job. All I know is you have a better chance being successful doing something else and working for a company that pays you a weekly paycheck.

You will not be asked to pay money by these people. However, before you buy into the opportunity they preach to you (because they sound friendly and it all sounds very nice) you should ask around and get your facts straight. You may be surprised at some of the things you learn. I thought this info was interesting . . .

* The manager/owner of LAMF, has been in the business for about seven years. He is always trying to "open new locations". He currently only has one location (Chicago) outside of the Burbank office.

* Sean, the manager, came to LA in 2006 (along with 2 current managers who still work in his office, HAVE BEEN IN THE BIZ 3+ YEARS and STILL GO DOOR TO DOOR). Since coming to LA, they have hired about 1,000 people. Of those people, 0 have actually been promoted to manager. Many have been there far longer than 6 months, some over a year.

* The two assistant managers in the office have been there 2 years and still have not been promoted.

So, don't believe everything you hear. After all, the business doesn't make money if people don't sell and why else would anyone want to go sell stuff door to door?
