I had struggled for few months over whether or not to post this but if I don't, others might be put into the same position... so screw it.

Top Tier is a complete scam. If I would have known what I actually would be doing I would have never accepted their offer. In the interview process, they said I would make 350-450 per week plus commission. I never recieved a commission and only made $7.25 an hour. The actual job itself was so embarrassing, chasing people down and harrassing them into hear a lame pitch about an outdated and cheap retail item.

We had meetings every other day at 7 am and then would have to work from 9 until whenever we were done. Most of time, there was not enough product to sell and that affected out commission (which didn't matter because our boss was collecting our commissions anyway). Our boss was nice but very unprofessional, often switching our schedules, cancelling meetings with 5 minutes notice, and avoiding calls/texts. What bothererd me most was the she tried to be best friends with you and didn't act like a boss. She also played favorites. I interviewed with her and almost everything she said during the interview process was a fabrication or just completely untrue.

We were never reimbursed for gas or tolls and I was driving anywhere from 2-3 hours per day. Eventually, it got to the point where I was spending more money in travel than I was making. We were told gas would reflect in out commissions... but again, we didn't get commission.

Another thing was the conference call. When there was no meeting we would have to call in and waste our minutes to hear the same speech over and over, "Maintain a positive attitude... Don't prejudge... 2 no's and a go.." it was always the same thing. But if you didn't participate in the call you were reprimanded. I had almost $400.00 in overage charges on my cell phone bill.

I stayed two months and quit, it wasn't economical for me to stay. I tried for almost three weeks to get my last check too with no response from anyone. A scam search online yielded no results but I know others fell victim to them as well. When I left, 75% of the staff left too, if you have been scammed please post it!! It will help others to aviod them and their shady ways. They are all over craigslist and careerbuilder. Beware!!!! Lies, unforseen costs, unprofessionalism.. not worth 7.25 an hour.
