Fundamental Marketing Concepts ,FMC, QUANTUM wish i would've known about this site! Maumee Ohio

Fundamental Marketing Concepts is a branch of Quantum. I worked there for 1 week. You do make about $2/ hr. And I didn't get a college degree for that. I interviewed with Siler-Milton Group (out of Livonia, MI) - about an hour from my home town. On my day of 'O' I knew that it wasn't for me when we walked into "Earl's Battery" to sell them Quill Office supplies. (Plus she told me she only get's paid 28% commission OFF OF OFFICE SUPPLIES!!) That would be hard to make a living off of. So FMC told me it was 32% commission (and it was closer to home).

On my day of 'O' here, we were outside of walmart selling kids toys (in the snow) - I wasn't dressed for the weather. They say it's 'event promotions'. We were professional fundraisers. Helping to find missing children. I loved the part of the job where I could fingerprint the kids and talk to them and their parents. But when I had my first day by myself, I didn't sell 1 single thing. And I quit. I realized that I let the other people do the sales pitch, when I only did the fingerprinting.

I had a soft spot for kids and I took the job for a week. I probably broke even (with gas and paychecks) for the week. And I hope I can inform others of this place before they get too involved.

After quitting I went back to the job search. I had calls from Rockland Inc (Troy, MI), 4D Marketing & Associates (Auburn Hills, MI) and Precision Events (Livionia, MI). I now know not to even waste my time interviewing with them.
I wish I knew about these companies before I went on my interview.
