I have visited Semillas De Amor w/ director Ms, Nancy Bailey at her children's home in Guatemala. I clearly understand why her children's home has been under close watch by the PGN (Guatemalan Government)
Everything that has been in the media about Guatemala & stolen babies is unfortunately true, Semillas De Amor had more babies than any other orphanage in Guatemala.
Upon meeting Ms, Bailey at her children's home the everyday person would be overwhelmed, so many little beautiful babies all waiting for a family. And one woman who is responsible for it all. Before you leave her orphanage you may just want to give the clothes off your back, after all, look what she has given up for all those beautiful children. working tirelessly to feed ,cloth & nurse them all in a third world country.
Make no mistake, she's running a business, not ethical, but its Guatemala & tax free! a 501C not for profit, that a laugh!
What people need to know is that when adoptions were at there peak in Guatemala, Ms, Bailey was raking in the cash monthly to her U.S bank acct, with more that most people will make in a lifetime, so by now she has a pretty fat nest egg to come home to, all in the name of her children.
She is a woman of many faces, So when you hear the cry's for help and donations, from Semillas De amor, think twice! Don't be fooled! She is a thief who uses children to empower herself.

Well, you certainly sound like a very, very angry person. I am not sure where you get your information on my finances or those of Semillas de Amor. If you came to visit us then you know that what you are saying are lies. We have no babies at Semillas de Amor but lots of toddlers and older children. Our children's home has few child compared to other homes that have as many as 500, so we would be considered small to medium with 50 kids. You certainly attest to knowing a lot about me but you did not have the courage to even leave your name. I would think that if you are writing nasty things about someone that you would leave your name. But then again it appears you are a coward.
Our finances are not secret and our doors are open for people to visit us. I am sorry you are such a bitter and negative person. I certainly hope that you did not adopt one of our wonderful children because I would be very sad to know that the child would be raised in such a toxic environment.
You can write all you like about me but I will continue to fight for rights of the children in Guatemala. What is it that you do to make the world a better place? Oh that's right, nothing but spend time bashing me on the internet. What a sad, sad life.

All of that was a long time ago, and I should let go of the harsh stuff.
We all have flaws.
At least Nancy takes great care of the children at Semillas, and for that I'm grateful.
