Spring River Nurseries Gradner's Choice - Randy Brown Landscape I oredered 6 lavender plants on 03/08/05 and cannot contact them, no plants, no ph#, have not cashed check as of riday, however have not had a chance to check Hartford Michigan

I ordered 6 lavender plants and sent my check for $13.85 on March 08, 2005. I have not received anything, and I could not locate a ph# for them. The check was not cashed as of last week, however I have not checked my bank account since then. I knew something was wrong, when they did not list a ph#, however it was in a supposedly reputable paper, so I thought it would be OK, but apparently the newspaper does not care enough to check out who is doing what on their newspaper.

I would like to know if anyone has a valid ph# or address and if there is anyway to file on them? I would stop payment on my check, however it would cost me more to stop payment, than the amount they are ripping off. It would cost me $25.00 to stop payment and the amount of the check is $13.85. Any help from anyone will be greatly appreciated!!

Randy Brown Landscape owns the gardeners choice in Belleville, MI. And his phone # is 734-697-1820. The company that you are refering to is in Hartford, MI they are two different companys . Look on the back of your check. It will not be cashed by Randy Brown landscape or The Gardeners Choice. The company you are looking for is in Hartford Michigan.

You can call Randy and he will give you the phone number. We get a hundred calls a day about this guy. And it makes Randy brown landscape look bad. But they have no affiliation. I which you would have done a little more research on this before posting something neggative about a company that has nothing to do with the other company.

CALL RANDY BROWN HE WILL HELP YOU IN ANY WAY THAT HE CAN. THIS IS A DAILY PROBLEM AT THE OFFICE. SOMEBODY NEEDS TO PUT THIS GUY IN HARTFORD, MI OUT OF BUISNESS.

Randy Brown, I am issuing a formal apology for referring to your company in error. I obtained your information by accident from another person filing on Spring River Nurseries. Please forgive me for my horrible mistake, because I in no way want to say any bad about someone who definately does not deserve it! Please, anyone who reads this, Randy Brown and his company of Gardners Choice is not in any way affiliated with Spring River Nurseries, and they are in good standing as far as I know, and have not done anything wrong to anyone. Also, latest update, I did receive the lavender plants from Spring River Nurseries, so I cannot say they did not honor their part of the transaction. I apologize to them also. They were a little slow, however they did send the plants I ordered.

Spring River O.K. with Me!!!

After seeing all the criticism on Spring River, I was reluctant to order the lavendar advertised in my Sunday newspaper. I called them and they were nothing but helpful. They explained that certain areas are shipped to at different times according to that area's growing season. I live in California and received my lavendar within 3 weeks. They were small, but grew very rapidly. I ordered 24 and lost 6. Spring River refunded my money as promised within 2-1/2 weeks. My lavendar is doing very well. The phone number IS available -- 269-621-2259.

I did receive my lavender plants and unfortunately, I think they all died.

One still has a little green in it, but they were very wilted when I received them. They are small but otherwise looked like they might live, but every day, they look worse. I am going to send them back to Spring River Nurseries and see if I can get three bigger replacements instead of six smaller ones.

So, far they have come through, so I figure they will honor their replacement guarentee. I will update once I receive the replacements. It was probably too hot here in Texas during the shipping phase of the small plants, so maybe some bigger ones will make it through the trip. Good Luck to all.
