I recieved a letter in the mail today with a postmark from Canada saying I won $180,000 in a sweepstakes, and my name had been drawn from over 500,000 names in the federal computer bank (wtf?) and the letter came attatched with a check for $4375.89, and the letter stated that $2800 goes to "surcharges/govt. tax due for your winning. Please note that no personal information is required from you"

The letter also states " Please do not attempt to use this Check until you call and speak with Jody Wong @ 1___________ for activation and further clarifications. Please note that the organizers will not enter into any correspondence with any winner and there's no obligation to claiming this prize money. All unlclaimed prize will be donated to charity."

SO, all I wanna know is, has anyone been ripped off by anything like this?
