I received a letter in the mail from Publishers Clearing House, with a legitimate looking check for the amount of $3,975. Stating that I am the February 2009 winner for $475,000 dollars. That the check is for applicable processing fees and it must be deposited into my bank account after speaking with my claims agent. Well do not deposit the check, it is a scam to get money out of you. What they do is they ask you to deposit the check and then they ask you for money, for whatever extra fees, and then weeks later when the check bounces you owe the bank money. Lucky I did not fall into their scam I did some looking up and I found a bunch of articles on this scam. I even called the real publishers clearing house and they verified that it is a scam. If you want to know more about it go to Pch.com.
