Charges totaling more than 80 dollars in overdraft.
Funds were posted the day before but taken back off the next day.
Bank manager just shrugs his shoulders and does'nt believe you.
I closed the account that day. took three months to get it closed. because some one made another mistake and showed I had a 5 cents balance. Definately discrimination.

Randy,
Discrimination? Please explain on what basis you were discriminated against. I can't wait to hear this.
And with any bank, it is up to you to learn your banks policies as described in your contract. FYI.."Pending" transactions at BofA WILL reflect in your balance, however, they are not available for use until the pending status is removed.
I have been with BofA for more than 15 years, with multiple accounts in several states. I have never had a problem.
You never mentioned what type of deposit it was. This makes a big difference in how it is made available. Sometimes a check deposited will initially be placed in pending status, then removed altogether if there is some sort of problem with it, or if it is from out of state, etc.
And, if you run your account down that low, you really should CASH checks, then deposit CASH.
