Axin Financial Services, ECommerce Exchange ripoff - did not provide services, support, or product as promised Irvine California

My husband was told by ECommerce Exchange that he would have his own internet business and they would create his web site however he wanted it. They told him to send in his paperwork immediately so he could get started on the road to riches he would have with this business.

After a few days of considering it we decided we were pressured into this decision and called them to cancel. They said we had 3 days and were past the point of cancelling. They started to draft our account for $89.95 per month and they did at least build his web site (a very elementary web site that anyone with FrontPage experience could build for $100).

The "support" that was promised to him to market the site, change features about the site, etc. was less than there. The employees were unresponsive and did not offer assistance at all. We kept the contract, kept paying them, and made zero profit off the site.

My husband called to cancel and they said that was fine since they could see we had not made any profit off the site. We closed our bank account at this time. Months later we started seeing letters from Axin Financial that we still owed them, they were taking us to small claims court, etc. They were sending these to an address we no longer lived at; the only way we received them was since it was a friend who lived there. As far as we are concerned, we do not owe them since they said they would cancel our contract and have in fact cancelled his web site. There are no goods OR services for them to collect on.
