I was shopping with my wife at Kohls in Ellicott City, Md (Route 103) and was approached by a younger gentleman who started off the conversation with "Do you know any good resturants in Columbia, MD?" He then was very interested in what I did for a living and mentioned he was also in the "E-commerce" industry. He asked for my name repetedly, and for my phone number.

He gave me his card which has no company web address and lists the following information: DXS Business Concepts - An NSBSystems Partner - Office: 866.644.2209 - Cell: 240.723.9948 -Drew L. Stafford - Senior Partner. I also asked him if he was associate with Britt World Wide (BWW), as a few years ago I got the same kind of approach from people repetedly while shopping at the local Best Buy, and he just looked at me oddly.

I read the other posters comments about Omni Web - An NSBSystems Partner, and it was the exact same experience. If you are in the area, look out!

What exactly is the danger of which to "beware"?

I read the sensational account about a mysterious conversation from a mysterious stranger who may or may not be part of some mysterious business... Whatever happened to "No thanks, I already know all ablot that thaaang." and be done with it? What if you give your name? Is it followed with giving your credit card numbers, then your Social Security number, then your bank account numbers, then your login passwords?

If your dire warning is to alert society's sheepish sucker-types, there are far more nefarious scams being perpetrated by people who don't have the courage to engage in a friendly conversation with someone who may potentially be benefitted by a legitimate opportunity. Maybe the best advice is to stay in your house and keep the doors locked. For those individuals, there's a great e-commerce shopping option for you, where you'll never have to set foot in a dangerous people-filled store again.
