I was searching for opportunities to begin an online business when I recievd a mass email from "Ebiz" offering me information on the is type of opportunity for $1.97 which should have been my first clue. When I agreed to this and entered my credit card information if took me to another page demandig $29.95 for additional information. I thought perhaps if it was good information I was willing to risk that. It then turned to another cscreen $97.00 for set up and service fees to which I said no way! I attempted to get out of the screen and found no exit so I exited the internet to get out.

I contacted my back to dispute the expediture and they cancelled payment. Now nearly a year later I get a bill for $ 212.58 from Ebiz. The company claimes I ordered the srervices and dmeanded payment and penalties. I never received any other notification except this letter from a collection agency. I never used the service, nor did I get any home business ideas. In short if you see anything from Ebiz, do yourself a favor and delete it before you go any further. The $1.97 you start with will not get you what is advertised and you may wind up paying significantly more.

ebiz scammers

AUTHOR: kay - pea ridge (United States of America)

Last year in Feb. I purchased two products from ebiz but some how they stuck me with their 1.97 charge that was to give you 7 day free trial then they bill you $97 monthly for classes I never signed up for this and when I got my credit card statement and saw the charges I was very angry I got on the computer and pending was another $97 immediately I disputed the charged called the company and cancelled also informed them that I had disputed it. They could refund it and I would pull it out of disput or they could fight it out with me. A few days later I see that they refunded the 2 items I purchased but not the classes. I called them up and asked them why they refunded the 2 items

They could not answer any of my questions give me any reasons for refunding the items I wanted but not   refunding the items I said I didnot purchased. They also told me I didn't have a chance in winning the dispute. I told them that they were crazy, because first off they bill me within 3 days yet on the website it says 7 days free trial I seent that in to the credit card company also you had a 30 day cancelation which I was able to make because you billed too early which I gave them proof now you give them proof for your actions. I waon the dispute in Dec. I get a call from a collection lady trying to tell me I owed her 357 I told her she was crazy. She said ebiz managed to get the dispute retracted. I told her that was a bunch of bull because if they had done a rebutal the credit card conpany would have let me known and if I had lost the money would have been put back on my account. I told her I have never received any letter from anyone that she was probably being scammed by them. She told me I would receive a letter shortly. I called my credit card, they told me ebiz had never called them. I called her back and told her that they never talked to the credit card  company.

Feb.2012 I get a letter, but it is from the collection lady I call her and tell her if she is still trying to collect from me she might as well forget it, take it to court Since no letters were ever sent from the company asking for money after the dispute or saying anything had changed they cannot ask for interest and I would like all this explained to the judge since the credit card company let me win the dispute. Also when I show the judge the scam of the way they misbilled. She asked me if I had proof. I sent her the proof I haven't heard back since. Don't give in to the collection company if you know you are right. make them take you to court. For small amounts they rarely will mess with it they usually buy large packets of bad debts pennies on the dollar and that is how they make their money so save face and now a days the credit bureau stinks anyway.
