Ravenwolf Shepherds ripoff Paid $2000 for undersized dog received no papers no chip no communication. Momence Illinois

In August of 2005 I paid $2000 for a GSD, her AKC papers, and her chip, from Gayle Barnes of Ravenwolf Shepherds. I received the dog and love her very much; however, I have never received the papers or the chip. I have tried numerous times to contact her, but she will not call, email, or write back.

The whole transaction was scary, at best. When I sent the first check, I had to make it out to her boyfriend becauae she said she was moving and hadn't set up an account yet. Prior to that, she was very chatty and very interested in getting me a dog. However, after the first check was sent and cashed, (which there is a no return policy), her communication became next to nothing. I finally got her to respond and we set up a date to pick up the pup.

When my husband and I got to her place in Momence, Illinois, we found it had been abandoned for several months. She had told us that she moved her business to Tennessee. It was then that she told me that my dogs' papers were being shipped from Europe and it would take 6 months to get them. For some reason, the chip had also been delayed. She told me to get my dog chipped and send her the bill.

I have never heard back from her since I picked up my dog. No AKC papers, no chip, and no communication. (The dog is extremely small, even though Gayle promised me she would be large).

I just want my dog's papers and reimbursement for the chip. If anyone knows Gayles whereabouts, would you please let me know so I can get my papers? I have a legal contract with her, but finding her has been impossible.

I feel I have been betrayed. I can't imagine that Gayle has no papers on her. They wouldn't cost her anything to send them to me, so why not give me my papers?
