RESULTZZS Achieve Technologies, Omni Business Solutions They delibrately lied about the costs of operating an online business so I would beleive it would work. St. George, Utah
I was looking at starting an online business. I bought a few cheap info products, the last being The Rich Jerk. I then received an unexpected phone call from a telemarketing company in Utah that claimed to have been responsible for the success of The Rich Jerk.
This company called themselves Results, ( resultzzs.com ). They were asking me how serious I was about making an online business and if I could invest into some specialized mentoring and training. Once it was established I was a gullible fool they then put me onto an expert con artist called Tom.
This sales guy knew every trick in the book to influence my decision. He said I would be making several hundred dollars a month within about 3 months and made it sound like an absolute certainty that I would be successful by using their methods.
I then proceeded to ask Tom about the associated costs of bringing this business up to speed and keeping it running successfully. He said- "ONLY hosting fees and the domain name". An outright lie! Any knowledgeable and successful internet marketer will tell you that it costs hundreds, if not thousands of dollars a month in advertising and other associated costs to run a profitable online business.
I have to shut up shop now because the money they took off me which was 1800AUD should have been spent on advertising, SEO, autoresponders, and other important aspects of online business. They knew full well that if they told me the truth, I would have said well forget it, I don't have enough money to implement this business.
The other issues I have is with the so called training. Understanding how to use HTML is critical in designing and setting up a website to assist in making it customer friendly.
This person who talked to me once a week for 3/4 hour to mentor me knew nothing of HTML. I had to work out everything myself and they were actually moving along too slow for me!
I barely needed their services and most of the knowledge is freely available online anyway. This has cost me 2k to date and I have not earned 1 dollar. This company is earning millions of dollars online using deceptive marketing techniques. We have actually given them the power to fight back against us. They should be taken to court and be made to reimburse a percentage of all the money they stole from people.
The last point I want to make is the craftily designed refund policy. The only way to get a refund is to post certified mail asking for a refund in writing within 3 business days of joining up. This is literally impossible to implement on time if living outside of America and this they also did on purpose to minimize refunds.
Tom says he goes to church, what a hypocrite. Maybe the church of Satan?
