To all those who have been scammed by this company,
I wanted to find out if anyone has received an updated email from 'tvboxset.com'. I did on August 2, 2007. This came out of the blue. I had given up contacting them back in July. This email goes on to say there was an unfortunate error in the shipment of your product. That the tracking numbers have 'stagnated' and are showing no movement. They then go on to say more or less an error occurred @ CanadaPost; that the parcel dates were incorrect and they are going to have to reprocess and repackage the entire shipment. They then go on to say they would give me a 40% discount on future orders (as if!!) and that I'd receive a new tracking number shortly and my order should arrive in 10-14 days from this date (Aug. 2) (where have I heard that before???). Anyway - I'm really interested to know how many people may have received this exact email? It is now August 10 and I've received no tracking number or any information.
I don't expect to ever get my order or if I did it would be 'bootleg' quality. I can't believe they've had the nerve to send some people DVDs with weather reports and commercials in them. I'd rather have nothing. I just pray I can get my money back. Again, I advise everyone to cancel and reorder a new credit card. Let me know if anyone else gets this 'form email'.
