1-800-FLOWERS Rip-off

A warning about 1-800-flowers.com: I´ve found them one of the most difficult companies I´ve ordered from online. Not only did they fail to deliver my order that day, as their site promised (be sure to ask for a discount when this happens to you -- they gave me 20%, but I had to ask), but their customer service didn´t return phone calls on promised follow-ups.

I had to make about 5 calls and e-chats to them to finally get the order through. Not only that, but even after repeated requests not to be added to their mailing lists, I´ve been getting junk mail from them anyway.

My advice is to shy away from them if you´re looking to order flowers, especially online. I know I´ll never do business with them again. Vince
