I went and did a search for the book I needed for my college class (started on January 15th 2009). I was directed to A1books.com from a google link and found books that had decent prices. So I located the book I needed on their site and purchased it, or so I thought. I waited 9 days because my book was supposed to be sent from Jan 21st - Feb 2nd. Well it got to Jan 25th and I thought I would just look to see if I could get a tracking number to find out where it was. I logged on to the site and found out that I had been issued a refund....WHAT? a refund? really? They didn't send me an e-mail about a refund? why? who knows???? I contacted the seller, and he told me that he didn't have the book and has been trying to cancel his seller account with A1 books for a while now, and they keep posting his book, and letting people "buy" it and then refunding their money without letting them know about it! The seller even added in "they are the worst company" geez I felt sorry for the seller because it obviously wasn't his fault, but all in the same, here I was waiting for a book that wasn't coming! I'm just so frustrated, because I really need my book, and I could have ordered another book from somewhere else, had I known that this one wasn't coming!!! I hope this report helps someone else who is looking to buy textbooks - JUST DON'T DO IT FROM A1BOOKS.COM!!! I sent an e-mail to a1books.com saying that I hoped they went out of business, because if they treated everyone like this they wouldn't be in business for long - and what they did is just bad business.
