Circuit City Thanksgiving web only special rip off Richmond virginia

Circuit city advertised in their BF2005 flyer a web only special sale Thanksgiving day. I tried to purchase the iomega dvd burner for 19.99 but was asked if I wanted to be notified when it was in stock.

I tried to order the 50 blank dvd's for 6.99 but received message that they were available only in store. Emailing Circuit CIty I was informed the items were not available on the web. The advertisement was in error.

Another email from Circuit City stated that the sale items were limited in numbers available on line. A different story then they were not available on line. I emailed Circuit city the fourth time with my unhappiness about web only specials not being web specials at all.

I was informed someone from Corporate Headquarters would contact me. 5 days later I have just received a call from "Sara". She informed me that I was just out of luck, that there is a disclaimer saying they were not responsible for errors in their ads.

I asked Sara if all of the web specials were in error and she said some of them were, not all of them. She could not tell me which ones were legitimate. She said many people could not order from web and had stayed all night at their stores to get web only specials.

She would not let me speak to her supervisor, saying she did not have one, she was at "corporate offices". I asked her if she was the CEO, which she was not. I asked her if I could speak to who she reports to. She said I could not, they do not do that. CC got a lot of free advertising with bogus ads.

My caller id reports her number was 804 270 0585. So far I have been told by cc that the ad was bogus, then there was only limited number, and now the ad was bogus but tough sh_t. No wonder they have had to close stores....
