The title on Seller's ad on e-Bay listing says: “The CURE for Turtle Lips-in 7 Seconds!” The ad claims: “Plump Lips in 7 Seconds or Your Money Back-GUARANTEED!” “Everyone and I mean everyone who tried it LOVED it! EVERYONE could feel it working. It took awhile for some (by a while I mean no more than 30 seconds) but eventually not a soul failed to Plump their lips!” “I hadn't really noticed but over time my lips had actually grown. A permanent growth”. “…try it! And if you don't Love it…You Get All Your Money Back NO QUESTIONS ASKED!” Highlighted in yellow: “Zero Risk, Lifetime Money Back Guarantee”. 100% Unconditional Lifetime Money Back Guarantee”. Highlighted in blue: “Place Your 100% Risk Free Bid NOW”. “Buy it NOW…Risk FREE”.
I bought 3 bottles, received 4 bottles (buy three, receive one free). My lips didn't burn, tingle, plump in 7 seconds, 30 seconds, 24 hours, 48 hours or 168 hours of continuous use.
After a week of no results I asked for a full refund. Ashley replied, who was very nice in the beginning, telling me to exfoliate my lips to improve the results of the plumper & assured me I had nothing to lose by continuing to use it for 30 days because there was a 100% unconditional lifetime money back guarantee - she did not mention I was limited to sampling one bottle. I agreed to continue using it.
I bought three different exfoliators (at considerable expense to me) and used them twice a day. Because her ad says EVERYONE felt the plumper working in no more than 30 seconds I assumed the bottle I was using was defective. Tried second bottle; same results. Tried third bottle.
This bottle produced an almost instantaneous burning, tingling sensation - WOW! I applied this bottle throughout the day for over a week-no plumping.
I again asked for a refund. She refunded price for 2 bottles, refused to issue a full refund because I tried 3 bottles (she wants to resell the returned bottles to another buyer - yuck). I have tried to resolve this dispute with her for over 2 weeks without success. In her last e-mail she said its my fault her product didn't work because I only tried it for a few days, sometimes it takes several weeks to work – that's not what her ad says.
She engaged in deceptive, dishonest and misleading advertising on her eBay auction site. Her Lip Plumper does not work in 7 to 30 seconds on everyone as her ad claims, and they don't honor their 100% Unconditional Lifetime Money Back Guarantee! What a Rip-Off!!! Buyer Beware!!! I'm surprised e-Bay & PayPal would tolerate these practices (I paid for my purchase through PayPal).
