Kids.com - Justourkids.com Shocked and Very Upset I was SCAMMED by Kids.com! Valley Stream New York

I signed up with Kids.com last year (2006) after I received a letter from Kids.com regarding my son. I was told to bring my husband (mandatory that both parents be there) and son. They "fed" me their lines and they made it clear that if I didn't pay the $595 for a 5-year contract that my son wouldn't get the full satisfaction of being apart of their agency. My husband didn't feel comfortable with putting up so much money but I thought it was a chance I was willing to take. I never received any follow-ups and the only letters I received was stating that I had to update my son's photos, paying the $20 sitting fee. Yes, my son's photo did show up on the website when stated so it made me feel a little better, especially since it was done by professionals. Unfortunately though, I found out that my husband's fears were true! I decided to call Kids.com to update my new home information and the number was disconnected. I called 411 and they said there was no listing. I tried the website and nothing!

I am very upset at this situation and would like to get my money back and if anything, an apology from this agency!
