I placed an order online December 12, 2006 for a pair of USB heated gloves. I paid immediately through paypal to HAVACO DIRECT. I ordered through Kleargear because the website said my USB gloves would be delivered by Christmas. These gloves were to be shipped to my mother who lives in a different state. This was to be her only gift.

I received an email December 19, 2006 stating that my order was on it’s way. I then received another email on December 20, 2006 stating that the USB gloves were temporarily out of stock and that I could select to either receive them after Christmas and take 20% off, cancel my order and take 20% off another item with 3-day shipping upgrade, cancel this item from my order, or cancel my entire order. I elected to wait to receive the item after Christmas with a 20% discount. I submitted this selection.

I received an email January 18, 2006 stating that my order has been canceled because you need more information from me or because an item in my order was unexpectedly not available to ship. It goes on to say that you issued me a refund and would like to give me 20% off my next purchase.

If I log into your website and look at my order, it shows it was shipped. This order was never shipped nor was my money refunded. My mother still has not received her Christmas present and I am out $27.94 because it has never been refunded to my paypal account.

I have been very frustrated because I have sent numerous emails to customerservice@kleargear.com and have also left several voice mails at 888-553-2743 and no one has returned my emails or called me back after I left messages. I am shocked that your customer service has neglected me and am very disappointed that I have to go this far as to write this letter in order to get resolution.

Please help me resolve this situation immediately. This has gone on long enough and I would just like my money refunded to me or I will be forced to report you to the better business bureau. It’s a shame my mother was the only one in my family that day that didn’t have a Christmas present to open on Christmas day. I can’t tell you how horrible that made me feel and how disappointing it is to me that Kleargear.com dropped the ball on this at such an important time of year.
