This person is an internet troll.

All of my paintings are legitimate, original and created by me, Morli. I have pictures of me with my paintings. I have pictures of my paintings as I work on them and I have numerous witnesses to the creation and origin of my paintings. Each painting is signed by me, the artist, on the front and back and dated. My signature will absolutely match because it is in fact, mine. Thanks so much for reading and thanks to the troll for the traffic and attention to my work! I'm flattered. This chick Morli hangs out at an adult porn site. Would you take a person who post naked pics of themselves on a porn site seriously as a "real" artist?

She probably is fake. I wouldn't buy art work from a high school dropout without any formal art school training. I don't see any proof on her Etsy site that her paintings are original pieces

First, some qualifications:

1 - I know Morli personally. I can vouch for both her quality of character and her artistic skill. I may also be biased in her favor, otherwise I wouldn't be bothering with this nonsense at all.

2 - I went to college for commercial art, and make my living doing it now. I can claim some significant authority in this area.

Now...the complaints registered thus far are from people who likely don't know Morli, and judging by their commentary and locations, they have also never seen her working in person.

Regarding the first complaint: What artists? Who is she ripping off? Name some names, link some websites. I've met or heard of many artists who've been ripped off. It happens frequently. But making this kind of charge requires that you be able to point to the artist(s) being victimized by the thief. In this day and age, almost all artists have some sort of a web presence - it's career suicide not to.

It's also notoriously difficult to fake the texture of an original painting, particularly given the techniques Morli employs in her work. So either she's reselling originals by other artists (which is legal, although it's wrong to represent it as your own art) or her work is original. In the former case, things like all of her work having a common style, artist's signatures, etc. make forgery unlikely at best.

Regarding the second complaint: Most famous artists in history books and even recently were immoral, uneducated, lewd, and often disturbed. These things arguably improved their art. Many college-educated artists produce surprisingly disappointing, pedestrian works that are worth less than the output of their highschool dropout peers. Moral standing is irrelevant to the quality of art. Education is even more so, as the art field is one where you get work based on skill, and a degree is optional.

The second comment also begs the question...where did the commenter get this information, and how reliable is it?

To summarize: These are empty accusations, and probably libel to boot. Don't give them any serious consideration.

A church member recently passed along her information to me because she said Morli did beautiful artwork. I searched for her information online and was very saddened to learn that she is selling her art on a pornographic site. I also was shocked and horrified to learn that she affiliates herself with this immoral, devilish site. This is NOT appropriate behaviour for a Christian woman, and it's sad to see that she is not saved in her soul. May God erase the Devil from your heart and soul, and may you be led from the dark. I'm afraid that other church members know about her dealings with this site. This just breaks my heart and it makes me sick.

Just because some goes to Church, or is a Priest or Minister means absolutely NOTHING!

This woman is a disgrace to the Christian faith and no moral upstanding Christian would give into the sins of the devil and post disgusting naked pictures of themselves on a pornographic adult site.

May God save her soul because she's going straight to Hell
