Overstock.com sells inferior merchandise & has a poor return policy

I ordered a bedspread & small table & chair set from Overstock.com. I sent the bedspread back due to a color conflict. It cost $8.00, but I figured it was better than keeping it. The chairs arrived before the table. They were small, flimsy & looked dangerous for a large person (over 140 lbs) to sit on. Since they seemed to weigh well over 50lbs, I envisioned $50.00 or more to return them. Plus, since I had opened the chairs, it would cost to have them repacked as well. When I complained to Overstocvk, a person calling themself "Tarra" wrote I had "buyer's remorse" & would be responsible for the shipping. So, now I am out their shipping & handling charges, charges to return the bedspread & am stuck with shoddy chairs & an okay table that arrived with a chip where it had been dropped before we opened it. Color me stupid for wanting to spend in excess of $60.00 for the privilege of opening packages only to return them. Especially when the local KMart had a better deal!!!
