I ordered a hard drive from this company on June 2 and used my credit card and paid for shipping. I received package with a hard drive and no receipt on June 6th. I kept e-mailing them to tell them I had no receipt. They kept telling me to look in my box. It was a small box and there was no receipt hiding in there. I took my computer to technician where I found out the hard drive was no good. Tried to contact company for my receipt. Finally received that on June 30 and found out that items only carry 30 day warranty no cash refunds full refund for in store credit only with a 20%restocking fee.

I keep getting replies from multiple e mail addresses. I responded to the psp support @ameritech and got Mailer demon. I am now out . They want me to send the part back for repair or replacement and want to know what I have done to troubleshoot the problem. It was defective from day 1. I want my money back. I am afraid that if I send back the part I will get no response at l. I want a full refund.

Effective July 26th 2006 I was refunded my money less 20%restocking fee. Would have liked a full refund as it was a defective part to begin with and not my fault. It cost me money to do business with this company and No effective product. I had to pay for shipping twice..once when they delivered it and once to send it back. (non-refundable) If I did not take what I could get then I would have gotten nothing. Still dissatisfied but at least got something returned.

Computer Parts Cheap

I have purchased equipment from this company on two occasions within the last 21/2 years. My first purchase was off-lease Gateway laptops, I purchased four off them. they had a 30 day (which is posted on all of their products) return time frame. It happens that two of the laptops had bad batteries, which after contacting this company was awarded a RMA for replacement of said batteries, I was completely satisfied with this transaction. I didn't email my request, they do provide a link for a RMA request and there is a phone number for resellers support that could have been helpful.

I also purchased a Gateway desktop motherboard 30 day also, it was a bad unit but by the time I got around to install it it was too late, past 30 days I paid $29 for it, shame on me, lesson learned. What I'm getting at is these types of dealers are liquidatos of computers and related equipment. They sell mainly to resellers/technicians with computer skills. The average person should buy at a retailer with your usual 1 year replacement warranties, such as newegg, tigerdirect etc. This company sells hardrives for greatly reduced prices some as low as $9 each, PCs for under $110. In addition being a computer technician myself I have refused to work on a piece of computer equipment as a third party provider if the unit is under any type of warranty for my customer protection, I have however acted as a liaison for my customers and commercial interests to help my customer. Good luck in you future online purchases,remember buyer beware, and read the fine print, by the way you almost never get your shipping costs refunded
