Be Warned!! Do not fall for the same cell phone trap I did.

I researched cellular phone deals through the internet. "Cellular Choices.com" seemed to have the best phone options with several different wireless carriers. I chose a basic phone with Verizon Wireless and they told me I would get the phone for FREE with a $150.00 mail in coupon.

I followed the two $75.00 rebate instructions exactly including making photo copies of several items as well as the box the phone came and 3 PAID bills.

I received one letter explaining that the post mark was too early for one of my $75.00 rebates. They let me send it in again and I received a letter over 2 months letter expalaining my "post mark" was too late. When I called they told me I was too early on one $75.00 rebate (by 5 days) and too late with the second $75.00 rebate (by 15 days).

The customer service person started yelling at me because "I did not read the rebate form carefully enough to receive my rebate". Actually you have to guess as to when they would like to see your rebate forms.

"Copy of wireless bill, showing any previous balance paid in full", translates to... Send in your first, second and third wireless bills, not your second, third and fourth. I asked her if I were to assume this meant the first bill and she yelled at me again telling me I did not read the rebate form carefully.

I have sent in many rebate forms to different companys in my life involving, computer rebates, food rebates and auto rebates and have NEVER been so ripped off by a "post marked date".

Word to the wise DO NOT use Cellular Choices.com to purchase wireless phones or wireless phone services. Cellular Choices does not have an 800 number to complain to, just a sales number. Verizon takes no responsibility for the way a person purchases their wireless communications. Rebate-zone's 800 number is designed to belittle you even more.

This company should be named Ripoff-Zone.com not Rebate-Zone.com!
