America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses ripoff Once again has mistreated me with poor customer service Birmingham Alabama and Atlanta Georgia

While visiting my mother in Birmingham, Alabama, I visited an America's Best location to receive an eye exam and purchase contacts. During my visit, the examiner read my prescription off a pair of cotour frames that were discontinued. While reading the prescription off the lense, the examiner damaged the frames. She regretfully apologized, and I accepted her apology with a promise that they would repair the frames and mail them along with my order of lenses to my residence in Atlanta, GA.

Well, weeks passed, and the frames nor the contacts never arrived. Noone knew where they disappeared. When I finally received the contacts, they were the wrong type. I originally ordered extended, but received daily. The lenses, which cost ,me over $375.00 were lost, and noone was able to locate them. I faxed an original copy of my receipt that I payed to their crappy customer service department, even though the regional manager never responded to my phone calls.

After a year of poor correspondence and poor service, a regional manager finally responded by contacting a customer service rep, informing me that I will only be given partial credit for the lenses that they damaged. HUMPF! Well, I've never been so behoofed in my life. Instead of considering themselves to America's Best, let's all consider them to be America's Worst! ;(
